U.S. PASSPORTS

ACCEPTANCE HOURS

 

Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm at the Richmond Office. No appointment is necessary.

 

Applications can be picked up during normal business hours at the Richmond Office. For additional information or to print an application online,

Standard processing can take up to 18 weeks. 

​

Expedited processing can take up to 12 weeks. 

WHAT TO BRING

 

  • ​BOTH parents if passport is for a child age 15 and under

  • State-issued birth certificate

  • Valid photo identification (if you don't live in Kentucky you will need 2 forms of ID)

  • Passport photos (we can take your photo for an additional fee of $12)

  • Completed application 

  • A check or money order for payment of the application fee (one check for EACH application, made payable to the U.S. Department of State)

FEES

  • Processing fee of $35 made payable to the Madison County Clerk applied for each new application submitted.

  • $12 if applicant needs their photo taken.

Adults (age 16 and older)

$110 - standard processing

$187.56 - expedited 

Minors (15 and under)

$80 - standard processing

$157.56 - expedited
