Whether you’re moving from another Kentucky county or from out of state, you may need to update your vehicle title or registration.

Marriage licenses do not transfer when you move. The Madison County Clerk’s Office only maintains records for marriage licenses originally issued and recorded by our office. If your license was issued elsewhere, you’ll need to contact the office that issued it for a copy.
