RECORDINGS DEPARTMENT
We house documents from 1786 to the present. Our records are only searchable by a person's name. Documents from 1986 to the present are scanned into the computer and can be accessed in-person or online through a third party subscription service, ECCLIX.
eRecordings are filed from 8:00am-10:00am.
Wait-on services are available from 10:00am-3:00pm.
The Madison County Clerk's Office and the Madison County Circuit Court Clerk's Office, despite their similar names, handle different services.
