Hunting and/or Fishing License

  • Licenses can be purchased online or in our office (Richmond or Berea)

  • All hunting and fishing licenses are issued by Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife

  • Fishing Licenses are required for those 16 years and older 

  • Hunting Licenses are required for those 12 years and older

Disabled or Senior Sportsman License

The Clerk's Office received notice from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife that on March 1st, 2018, the fees for a Disabled or Senior Sportsman license increased from $5.00 to $12.00.

In order to apply for a discounted Sportsman License, the applicant must be disabled or 65 years of age or older.

In order to apply for a Disabled Sportsman License, the applicant must FIRST provide documentation stating that you are 100% disabled, and provide proof of disability by obtaining an authorization card through the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife. To obtain an authorization card, the applicant must either:

Once the documentation is processed, you will receive an authorization card that allows you to purchase the license at a discounted price from any vendor that offer the service. You MUST present the authorization card at the time of the purchase.
